Title: Why SEO in All the Right Places Doesn't Cut It Anymore.

I have been working on every aspect of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) for many years now. The industry has evolved dramatically from the very beginning when you could simply launch a website and start getting sales without too much work to the way things are now.

I give regular talks on SEO, I begin by informing the audience that there are no magicians out there that can suddenly launch your website up to a number 1 google ranking for the product or service you offer. I feel I have to do this due to the cowboy style that SEO is being sold at present in which companies have a strong sales force that will promise the earth and deliver nothing in most cases making up 80% of the company and then less than 20% doing the actual work. It’s also important as the audience are often expecting to hear some secret formula for SEO success. And why wouldn't they, with all the myths and outright wrong/bad information that constantly swirls through the SEOsphere?

SEO is all about making your website the best it can be for the search engines and your site visitors.
